Not sure if this is the correct place to do this but I am looking for information on Margaret Thomson Mowbray Milloy, an aunt of my wife. She was born in Kilmarnock in 1917 and appears in the 1921 census as a 4 year old. After that I can find nothing. Her mother died in 1922 and her father John Milloy emigrated to Louisiana in the USA in 1930, without his children, but died a few months later in the same year. She had two brothers, John Ypres Milloy who was older, and Robert Milloy who was younger – he was my wife’s father.
In the absence of further census results, I was going to look in Electoral Rolls to see if Margaret appeared but there don’t seem to be any online copies. Are there copies of the Ayrshire ER’s for 1920 to 1980 held within Ayrshire?
Any help/suggestions will be most welcome!
